Stabilizing-Dam cord is intended to stabilize dental dam in patient’s oral cavity.
➢ To stabilize dental dam place the cord in the interdental spaces between the exposed tooth and the one protected with dam.
➢ Cord of a length of 4 cm is sufficient to stabilize the dental dam.
➢ After placement, the length of the cord can be adjusted by cutting with scissors. The use of water-soluble lubricant facilitates the cord fixing in interdental spaces.
